Can you help the Burnley Community Kitchen ensure that every local child has a chocolate treat to enjoy this Easter?
Following on from Burnley Together’s Christmas present appeal, which saw over 4,500 Christmas presents gifted to 850 local children, the Burnley Community Kitchen are now appealing for Easter Eggs to be donated.
A number of families in our local area are struggling financially and that means that some children could go without a chocolate egg this Easter!
We hope, with your support, that we can help families during this difficult time and give children an extra treat!
There are a number of ways you can support our Easter Egg appeal.
You can donate chocolate eggs directly by dropping them off at one of our donation points at a local store or alternatively these can be dropped off at the Burnley Community Kitchen Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.
If you would rather make a monetary donation to support the foodbank, you can sign up to become a Foodbank Friend and make a regular, monthly donation or alternatively, donate to our Just Giving HERE.
The cut off for these donations is Friday 26th March. The BFCitC Kitchen team will begin distributing the Easter Eggs out to local schools from Tuesday 23rd March and will continue to do so until schools break up for Easter.
Together, we can make sure every local child has a Happy Easter!
