After studying sport in college, Kris worked in Outdoor Education for over a decade before deciding he wanted to work within sports in a school environment.
Qualified to Level 3 in Sport and Sports Psychology as well as Level 2 in Activity Leadership, Football, Multi-Sports and Goalkeeping, Kris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
He enjoys helping young people to develop themselves, both in the classroom and in sport.
Leigh is our Premier League Primary Stars Coordinator and she holds a range of qualifications relevant to this including Level 1 & 2 in Football Coaching, Level 2 PE in school sport and Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
Leigh is hugely passionate about football and this made her decision to work in sport and education an easy one. Away from work, Leigh also works as a coach and referee and also plays for a team regularly.
One of her favourite aspects of the role is that there are no two days the same.
Josh has always had a passion for sports and football and was once an inspiring athlete. Unfortunately, medical conditions prevent Josh from being able to compete which is when he turned to coaching, something which he now loves.
Previously an International Football Development Coach, Josh is qualified in football, Multi-Sports and Goalkeeping coaching as well as holding an Extended Diploma in Schools Sports Coaching.
Being part of an organisation that supports their community gives josh a great sense of pride.
Wearing the Burnley badge in school feels like you can make such a difference to the way students learn.
You see so many pupils perk up when they see that you’re going to be teaching and it is usually followed by a flurry of questions about Burnley Football Club. It’s great as it engages the students before we even begin our delivery.
Aaron holds a degree in Sport Coaching and Development and also has qualifications in football, multi-skills, rugby and handball.
Working within football clubs and schools is familiar grounds to Aaron. His previous role was as a BTEC sports tutor where he delivered to 16-18-year-olds in the football clubs academy.
Growing up, sport was an escape for Aaron and this was something he always knew he wanted to go on to. He believes everyone should have the opportunity to access sport and its benefits.
Jack holds a first-class honours degree in PE and Sports coaching as well as qualified teacher status and various Level 1 & 2 coaching certificates.
Having previously worked for various sports coaching companies in primary schools, Jack came to BFCitC with some great experience and knowledge on these types of roles.
With a passion for sport and wider education, Jack enjoys being a positive role model and bringing a smile to faces through PE!
