Moor Life Skills

Moor Life Skills uses the power of Burnley Football Club and the Premier League to engage local people who are actively looking to progress into education, training or employment.

This Employability programme offers both group and tailored one-to-one (1:1) sessions for people aged 16+ who need support with CV development, interview preparation and focused job searching. The programme aims to develop key life skills such as communication, team working, problem solving and confidence.

As an Employability programme, we work with local partners such as Job Centre Plus and local referral agencies to provide employment opportunities and signpost you to Maths, English, ICT and ESOL courses.

The Moor Life Skills programme aims to:

  • Engage and support people through a personalised employability programme.
  • Provide a variety of activities and workshops such as confidence building and interview preparation.
  • Enable people to gain training, work experience and volunteering opportunities with lots of organisations and across our Burnley FC in the Community programmes.
