What do previous participants say?

Matthew Lawson (22): “It was great meeting Burnley fans of all different ages. Taking part in exercise classes is something I normally wouldn’t do but, with the Men’s Healthy Weight programme, every week is different. The BFCitC staff make each session fun and motivate us to do our best rather than making exercise feel like torture.”

Steve Whitehead (55): “For me mental health is related to physical health. The enjoyment I’ve got out of the MHWM programme puts me in the right frame of mind and gets me motivated for everything I do in my life now.”

Wayne McIntosh (36): “Really enjoyed meeting new like-minded people and getting involved in a great community project.”

This is open to any male aged 18 and over, whatever your level of fitness. All are welcome! If you would like to register, please contact Sam on or 01282 704716.

What do previous participants say?

Laura Milner: “I’m not a major gym fan so attending Women’s Healthy Weight showed me exercises that I could do at home easily – I would say go for it! Everyone who signs up are in the same boat regardless of age, size etc. We’re all there to support each other.”

The women’s sessions are open to females aged 18 and over and all abilities are welcome. Want to get fit, have fun and make new friends? Register by contacting Charlotte on or 01282 704716.
