Burnley FC in the Community is delighted to have recruited Malaysia-based PDC Sports as its licensed agent in Southeast Asia.

Headed up by Adrian Choo and David Teo, the team at PDC Sports have been fostering support from overseas businesses, schools and youth groups across Malaysia, China and Thailand on behalf of Burnley FC in the Community.

The partnership was initially forged over 12 months ago, after a series of meetings and strategic planning between PDC Sports and overseas development staff at Burnley FC’s official charity. Establishing a set of objectives to promote the workings of Burnley FC in the Community, the team committed to spreading the mission of BFCitC – namely, to inspire, support and deliver change in communities and to engage players from across regions in the many opportunities football can offer.

Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Burnley FC in the Community, said: “We are delighted to be working with PDC Sports on these exciting projects overseas. I can personally vouch for the quality of this organisation and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Adrian and David over the past few months. We are very like-minded organisations and I’m looking forward to being part of the positive work we can collectively deliver in Southeast Asia.”

Now active in locations across Southeast Asia, there are big plans for the season ahead as PDC Sports begin to facilitate a number of BFCitC programmes including Soccer Schools, Mini Kickers and Player Development Centre sessions. BFCitC staff will also return to Kuala Lumpur and China throughout the year to support the growth of the partnership.
