Whitehough…

Operated by Burnley FC in the Community, Whitehough Outdoor Centre is a 22-acre facility nestled in the enchanting Pendle countryside.

Sleeping up to 90 on-site we can accommodate both large and small groups. The site also includes two classrooms, a large dining room, an extensive camping field and a 40-seater conference suite.

Find out more information below and for any booking enquiries or general requests please fill in the form at the bottom of the page.

Working with recognised outdoor education providers, Outdoor Elements, we take education out of the classroom and into the great outdoors… And we make every experience one to remember!

Our activities are delivered on both land and water by qualified instructors, approved with the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA). We believe young people can inspired by outdoor education and we want all our visitors to thrive in this unique environment.

We aim to inspire, challenge, motivate and develop groups, whatever the age or ability. There’s so much to try at Whitehough.

Every group has differing requirements when it comes to looking for an outdoor residential experience. We know that and that’s why our packages at Whitehough are not ‘off the shelf’.

Our expert team will work with you to tailor a bespoke experience package that will deliver exactly what you and your group want from a visit to our facility.

Where are we? Though the centre feels a million miles from the hustle and bustle of a town or city, it’s actually only 10 minutes from the M65 motorway and 20 minutes from Burnley town centre on Barley New Rd, Barley, BB12 9LF.
